Collated complete. The second volume continues the part on The Siege of Malta and then the Rescue of Malta. With three folding maps being a harbour sketch of the fortification of Malta to serve for the intelligence of the siege of 1565, a map of the Islands of Malta and St Goze, and a plan of the port and fortifications of Malta in 1686. Collated, complete. With a bookplate for Francis Augustus Brooks to both pastedowns. Both volumes are bound in the original paper wraps. Externally, they are a little worn and faded to the spine and wraps. The front wrap of volume one is slightly torn from the joint but remains attached.
