Paul was a Jew who, according to the New Testament, was baptised and proclaimed Jesus as the Jewish messiah and the Son of God. Almost half of the content in the book of Acts from the New Testament details Paul's life and work.Includes monochrome illustrations within the text to nearly every page and 5 maps on coloured plates. Collated, complete.Publisher's adverts to the rear endpapers. In cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly worn and discoloured. The back board has a few stains. The front hinge is starting but firm. There is spotting to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound.
