Herbert, Sept 30th 1922&apos.Also including a letter from A.P. Herbert to noted British physician and biographer Dr William Hale-White, attached to the front pastedown: 'Dear Hale-White, In spite of your prohibition, I must write and say how glad I was to get your nice note of congratulation. My wife and I send our thanks to you both. Yours Sincerely, A.P. Herbert&apos. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, some shelf wear to the boards and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. An ink inscription from the author to the front free-endpaper, and a letter from the author attached to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
