Externally, a little worn, with some rubbing to the boards and spine. Spines are lightly faded. Loss of leather to the extremities and tail of the spine of Volume I. A little loss of leather to the head of the front board and head of the spine of Volume II, and to the tail of the spine of Volume III. Small loss of leather to the head of the rear board and tail of the spine of Volume IV. Loss of leather to the front board and head of the spine of Volume V. Discolouration to the front board of Volume IV. Rear joint of Volume I is strained, board may detach with further handling. Small cracks to the tail of the joints of Volume III. Front joint and front hinge of Volume IV are strained but firm. Rear hinge of Volume IV is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age toned and generally clean with some spots. Folding plates are both torn along one fold. Tidemark to the head of the last fifty or so pages of Volume IV.
