There is also a section to the rear of the text which provides checklists of chronometers, pocket watches, and clocks for collectors. Written by Cedric Jagger, a historian of horology who wrote a range of works including 'Clocks & Watches', 'Royal Clocks', and 'The Artistry of the English Watch&apos. Published by the Antiquarian Horological Society, a UK society for scholars and enthusiasts of horology, the study of the measurement of time. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the extremities and age-toning to the margins of boards and the spine. Dust wrapper is smart with age-toning to the top edge of wraps, including the fly leaves and reverse, with edge wear as well as a few small closed tears to the top edge. Light spotting to the reverse of wraps. Age-toning to the endpapers with a few spots. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with light age-toning to the margins of text. Very Good .
