Enclosed in the original dust wrapper.The personal copy of Herrick's former agent and friend, 'Deborah', noted by a very personal letter loosely inserted into this copy. The letter reads: 'Dear Deborah, I was a damnfool, and know it. I've missed you all these years, and know that, too. And I'm very embarrassed. If you throw the book out, I hardly blame you. Whether you send the book out is barely important. You had my first couple books, now you have my last one. It's my coda, my life. And I send it to the only agent I really loved. Best, Bill&apos.
