She contributed illustrations to a range of periodicals including 'The Graphic' newspaper, and made illustrations for the 1874 serialisation of Thomas HArdy's 'Far from the Madding Crowd&apos. Marcus Bourne Huish (1843-1921) was an English barrister, writer, and art dealer. He was the editor of 'The Art Journal' from 1881 to 1892 and was also the first Managing Director the Fine Art Society. Four pages of publisher's adverts to rear of text. Collated, complete.
