Helen Allingham was a British watercolourist and illustrator during the Victorian period. Colour frontispiece and 80 illustrations. Illustration on page 94, Drying Clothes is detached but present. Illustration 50 on page 142, Valewood Farm,  is detached but present.Illustration 81, A Fruit Stall, Venice, is missing. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Some marks to the front board and only light bumping to the head and tale of the spine which is a little faded. Internally, generally firmly bound with plates 50 and 81 detached but present. Pages are generally bright and clean with some scattered spots. Good . Ill.: Helen Allingham. Good .
