With the bookplate of Alan Thornton to the front pastedown. In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Back strip head and tail detaching, with losses to paper. Closed tear to paper to back strip centre. Joints starting, with front board slightly tender and rear board firmly held. Marks to front board, most concentrated to board perimeters. Small loss of paper to centre of front board and head of rear board. Chipping to head of paper label to front board. Bookplate to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
