A. Goodyear (1877-1948). This book is one of dozens of stories that Goodyear wrote that were set within a boys' school. Contents include 'On a Wild Winter's Day', 'Victory to the Stranger', 'Softest Heart in School', 'Largely Concerning Julian', and 'Pond Life and Strife&apos. Thirty-two pages of publisher's adverts to the rear of text.Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart. Minimal edge wear to the extremities with light bumping to the spine. A few marks to the boards as well as light fading to the spine region and to the margins of boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout, with light age-toning to margins.
