Included among his major works are the restorations of Notre-Dame de Paris, the Basilica of Saint-Denis, the medieval walls of the city of Carcassonne. He also planned much of the construction of the Statue of Liberty. In a quarter straight-up grain morocco binding over cloth covered boards, doubleur endpapers and gilt to the edges. Externally smart with some shelf wear and rubbing to the boards and spine, minor loss to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting scattered to the occasional leaf.
