Contents include 'A Modern Wizard', 'A Turkey's Costly Diet', 'Feathered Friendship', 'The Duck-Billed Platypus', and 'The Sugar Maple&apos. Chatterbox was a children's magazine, first published in 1866, and founded by J. Erskine Clarke (1827-1920). Clarke was a British clergyman who issued the first parish magazine and founded a range of churches and schools in Battersea.Collated, complete.   Bound in cloth with gilt illustration to board. Externally, very smart. Minimal edge wear to extremities with light bumps to the head and tail of spine. Gilt illustration on front board has faded very lightly. Internally, firmly bound.
