Externally, sound with some shelf wear and minor scuffing to the spine and extremities, rubbing to the boards. William Eustace Bevan bookplate to the front pastedown. Previous owner's gift inscription to the half title dated 1873. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are generally bright and clean with only odd light spotting to the very occasional leaf.
