This novel follows the life of Agar Moses, a young Jewess with a talent for dancing who eventually will play a leading role in the establishment of a Jewish community in Mandatory Palestine. This is copy number two hundred and thirty three of three hundred printed on on D'Arches paper. With illustrations by Arthur Szyk, remarkably hand-coloured by J. Saudé, numerous miniatures in text as well as twelve full page plates. Rebound in an exquisite half morocco binding over marbled boards and endpapers signed R.
