Externally lovely with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Previous ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, dated 1952. The dust wrapper is unclipped and rather worn, with some shelf wear and chipping to the spine and extremities, a minor loss to the head of the spine and a closed tear to the upper joint, amateurly tape repaired externally to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very clean though browned, as usual due to the type of paper used. Illustrated with a frontispiece and seven full page plates.
