Walton, w renowned British ecologist and emeritus professor with the British Antarctic Survey. He attended the University of Edinburgh for his undergraduate studies.This copy also came from the library at Julians Park, Hertfordshire, the previous home of Audrey Pleydell-Bouverie (1902-1968). She was an English socialite and through her mother was allegedly the illegitimate granddaughter of King Edward VII. In the original red cloth binding with gilt stamping to the front board and spine. Externally, bright, with shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of spine and extremities. Spine has darkened. The bookplate of David W.H. Walton to the front free-endpaper. Internally, hinges are tender but firm. Binding is tender but firm. Pages are bright and clean. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
