Illustrated with six maps, sketches in text by the author, and thirty-two full page photographs. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over paper covered boards. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, with minor soiling to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint spotting to the fore edge, affecting only the occasional leaf, otherwise the pages are bright and clean.
