Collated, complete. This copy is inscribed and signed by Bernard Miles, English actor, writer, and director known for playing character roles that usually had bucolic backgrounds or links to countrymen. He inscribed it to the front free endpaper 'To Pat Betts with love and admiration,' dated 1958. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The dust wrapper is smart and unclipped with minor shelf wear and some minor chipping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, a minor puncture mark to the front wrap. Inscribed and signed by English actor Bernard Miles to the front free endpaper, dated 1958. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint scattered spotting to the leaves.
