He was also an advocate for the abolition of slavery and lived in Cotham, Bristol. The first and only edition of the work. This work was written and printed by his son, Sir Theodore Fry, M.P. Containing eight full page illustrations, collated and appears to be complete.This copy came from the library at Julians Park, Hertfordshire, the previous home of Audrey Pleydell-Bouverie (1902-1968). She was an English socialite and through her mother was the illegitimate granddaughter of King Edward VII. In full cloth binding with gilt stamping to the front board. Externally, very smart, with slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The odd spot to the pages, but they are generally bright and clean. Near Fine .
