In a half crushed morocco binding. Externally generally smart, with some slight rubbing to the head of the volumes and to the raised bands. Extremities also have a little rubbing; volume III is a little faded to the front board. Ownership inscription to the front endpaper of each volume; the residual marks from a removed ownership bookplate to the front pastedown of volume III.
