He became a popular figure in society and held numerous auctions throughout the mid 1700s. This publication was issued the year after his death and focuses on Bragge's gluttony and his wife's parsimony. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece.Collated, complete. In a contemporary full calf binding. Externally, generally smart. Light rubbing to the joints and extremities. A few light spots to boards. Light offsetting to the title page.
