In the original full calf binding; lacking the backstrip. Externally rather worn; the boards are loose and heavily rubbed to the extremities and boards, with the occasional tape failed tape repair. Front endpaper and blank are loose but present, as are the first leaves up to page 6. Binding is generally firm, bar the loose leaves; rear hinge is also rather strained. Pages are a little spotted.
