Collated, complete.This work belonged to the library of Philip Brocklehurst, bearing his armorial bookplate to the front pastedown, and a dedication to him to the front free endpaper. Brocklehurst is best known for being a member of the Nimrod Expedition in Antarctica of 1907–1909, led by Ernest Shackleton. A boxer himself, he represented Cambridge University at boxing in 1905, 1906 and 1907 as a lightweight against Oxford University, and obtained a half blue. In the publisher's original cloth binding.
