It has been a centre of expert opinion and independent assessment of jewellery and precious metals for nearly 250 years.Including six illustrations, collated and complete, and many tables and diagrams throughout. With typed notes bound in on the changes of letters at different assay offices and date letters to which the Jubilee mark refers, as well as other tipped in notes throughout, all valuable additions by the Birmingham Assay Office.
