This diary was originally written from 1798-1801. An exact reproduction in a folding vellum binding. With the original ribbon tie intact. To the verso of front endpaper is a tribute inscription signed Th Fortin, the grandson of the author dated 1899. Undated, entries on Worldcat date this book as 1906, however the ink inscription to this copy is dated 1899. Bookplates to the front pastedown, Bibliotheque de Mr Leon Muller and Collection d'autographes de Monsieur Leon Muller. An original source, being a personal narrative of the military in France. In the original full vellum binding. Externally, very smart. A few light spots to the boards.
