A very scarce work of English literature complete in four uniformly bound volumes. The author is not noted to the title page, but it has been attributed to Felix Mcdonogh or Felix M'Donogh.  A charming novel that offers funny anecdotes and social commentary, particularly on the topic of English manners and social etiquette. A first edition of this work published by Henry Colburn in London. Uniformly bound in half calf with marble covered boards. Externally, very smart with slight rubbing to the spine and corners, and minor shelf wear. Stickers to the to the tails of the spines on Volume I and Volume IV. Internally, hinges to all volumes, particularly Volume II and Volume IV, are slightly strained but still remain firm. Internally, all volumes are firmly bound. In all volumes, scattered spots to the first and last few pages, with the odd spot or handling mark throughout, but otherwise pages bright and clean. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
