In a half calf binding over paper covered boards with new endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and some minor faint handling marks to the boards. With a bookplate to the front pastedown, with the owner's name crossed out. Internally, firmly bound. The dedication and title page have been repaired and attached to the gutter with archival tape.
