In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally smart with some shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. With some damp marking to the front board. Lacking the free endpapers. Internally, firmly bound, with the hinges slightly loose only to the frontispiece and to the odd leaf. With a minor faint scattered spotting to the very occasional leaf, although the pages are generally clean throughout, with some chipping and damp marking to the rear leaves and rear pastedown.
