He frequently collaborated with topographer and antiquarian, John Britton.illustrated with wood-engravings in the text, and steel-engraved plates. Volume I contains seventeen plates, including one folding plate. Volume II contains sixteen plates, including one folding plate. Volume III contains eighteen plates; lacking one. Volume IV contains thirty-five plates. Volume V contains forty-two, including two folding plates. Collated, complete.In five volumes.A fascinating and thorough topographical study of the county of Surrey. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally a trifle worn; spines are rather faded, the extremities are a little bumped, resulting in slight loss, and the cloth is a little torn at the joints in places. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound, with hinges occasionally a touch strained. Pages have just the odd spot. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
