Echard also produced translations of Terence, Plautus, Pierre Joseph d'Orleans 'History of the Revolutions in England&apos.The second edition.Each volume is illustrated with a marvellous engraved frontispiece; Volume III also has an engraved portrait of the King.Complete in three volumes.Rarely found complete. In a full diced calf binding. Externally a trifle worn, with rubbing to the spine, in particular the head and tail. Spine labels have been replaced, and spines have been repaired. The front board of volume III is loose. Armorial bookplates to the front pastedowns. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a touch of strained to some of the hinges.
