With many explanatory notes by the author and a thorough introduction. Containing titles such as 'Sir Patrick Spens,' 'Childe Owlet,' The Courteous Knight,' 'Young Allan,' 'The Baron o' Leys,' and more. Each volume comprises over sixty titles. Illustrated with a frontispiece to volume one. In a half calf binding over marbled boards and edges. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear and a minor rubbing to the spine and to the extremities. A minor scuffing to the rear board of volume one. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint scattered spotting to the first and last few leaves, and the minor odd spot to the occasional page; otherwise, the pages are generally bright and clean throughout.
