H. author of Friends in Dingy Court and In His Service. An undated copy, dated from Copac 1900. Illustrated by W. S. Stacey with three plates. With thirty two leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. With a faint red damp marking to the rear board. With evidence of an attempted removal of a bookplate to the front pastedown, and a minor inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally, the plate facing page 110 is loose but present; otherwise, firmly bound. The Pages are bright and clean. Good . Ill.: W S Stacey. Good .
