With chapters on Gelderland, South Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, North Brabant, Overysel, Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland and North Holland.Nicolaas Jungmann (1872-1935) was an Anglo-Dutch painter known for his landscapes and illustrations. He studied at the Rijksakademie, and along with his wife Beatrix, completed a similar topographical work on Norway and Normandy as well as Holland. Their daughters, Teresa Jungman and Zita Jungman, were one of the 'Bright Young Things' in the 1920s.In the publisher's original decorative binding.Containing seventy-five full plates in colour by Nico Jungman.The first edition of this work.
