An anonymously written satirical work based upon French novelist and playwright Alain-Rene Lesage's comic novel, 'The Devil Upon Two Sticks' (1707). While the original work is set in Madrid, the location here is shifted to London, and follows the demon king Asmodeus. A two page publisher's catalogue to the rear.ESTC reference no.
