J.  Gosset (1855-1936), who also wrote 'Shepherd of Britain, or, Scenes from Shepherd Life Past and Present&apos.A scarce work. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally a trifle worn, with bumping to the head and tail of the cloth and extremities resulting in wear to the cloth. Dust wrapper is discoloured, with a tear across the head of the spine two inches down, chipping to the head and tail of the spine, and a few spots to the boards. Ownership stamp to the front pastedown, and a gift inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little spotted in places, but otherwise bright. Very Good . Ill.: None.
