By H J Cooper, O G Thetford, and edited by D A Russell.The magazine ran until 1947, having been published yearly in seven volumes.Volume three comprising the descriptions of aircraft such as The Douglas TBD-1 Devastator I, The Vultee Vengeance The Bell FM-1A Airacuda, The Douglas, The Caproni-Reggiane, and many others. Each aircraft is accompanied by a three-view diagram in a 1/72 scale, in order not to simply recognising aircraft, but also to build models, which were an invaluable aid for recognition to the RAF, AA gun sites, and Observer Corp posts.With over thirty leaves of advertisements for Aero-Modeller Plans Service, Butlers, Elite Model Airplane Supplies, Morris, Siebe Gorman, and many more. Profusely illustrated throughout with coloured and black and white plates, as well as various diagram and twenty nine folding diagrams. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelfwear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The cloth to the spine has slightly darkened. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Profusely illustrated throughout with coloured and black and white plates, in text illustrations, diagrams, and twenty nine folding plates. Very Good . Ill.: Unnamed.
