The watercolour drawings were chosen by Laurence Binyon, and the exhibition was arranged to coincide with his visit to Japan.A folio, with each drawing having a sheet of tissue paper with a brief note of the artist and title.Comprising two Chinese poems by Baron Kishichiro Okura, a preface by the Binyon Reception committee, a foreword by H. B. M. Ambassador, and a note by Professor Seichi Taki. Also including a brief introduction to English watercolouring by Laurence Binyon.Collated, complete with fifty four plates by various English artists. In the original slipcase.  In the original publisher's cloth covered paper wraps. Externally smart with only minor shelfwear. Tide marking to the front and rear wrap, affecting the first and last few leaves. The slipcase is very charming with only minor shelfwear also.
