Comprising also the story of Tommy Trip, the "author" of this story, his dog Jouler, and of Woglog the bear.Profusely illustrated with charming engravings on wood from the original blocks engraved by Thomas Bewick. With the history and seclusion of the blocks for nearly one hundred years set forth in a preface by the publisher.  In a quarter morocco binding with cloth covered boards. Externally very smart with only minor shelfwear and a minor rubbing to the head and tail of the spine, and only a slight crease to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
