He penned his work 'The Village Curate' whilst he was curate of Burwash.Complete in three volumes. Published at the University of Oxford Press after the author's death, with a profuse number of subscribers. In a half calf binding. Externally generally smart, with some bumping to the extremities and minor wear to the spine. Ownership inscriptions to the title page and front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
