The main theme explored is Becket's internal struggle. With the original, unclipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor shelfwear. Inscribed by a previous owner to the front free endpaper, undated, as well as by minor scholarly notes in pencil to the occasional page. The dustwrapper is smart with slight shelfwear and closed tears. Tape repaired internally to the tail of the spine. The spine of the wrapper is slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound.
