In the original half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Spines and extremities are a little faded. Light rubbing to the boards and spines, and a touch of bumping to the extremities. Rubbing is a little heavier to the rear board of Volume I. Front hinge of Volume I is stating but firm. Bookplate to the verso to the front endpaper of Volume I, and to the front pastedown of Volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean.
