He was present at D-Day in a landing craft, when he got badly injured, and finished the war in Kiel with the rank of Lieutenant. With unclipped dustwrapper. In the publisher's original navy blue cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally lovely with minor shelfwear only. Dustwrapper is excellent with minor shelfwear only. Unclipped.
