He was an English novelist known for his writings on naval warfare.With unclipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's blue cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally, in excellent condition with minor bumping to head and tail of spine only. Dustwrapper is very smart, with minor shelfwear and slight closed tear to head and tail of spine and extremities. Faint spotting to fly leaves and internal to wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout, with faint offsetting to endpapers and minor markings to the edge, not affecting the pages. With unclipped dustwrapper. Fine . Ill.: None.
