This pamphlet discusses the revolts of 1831. They were the first worker uprisings of the Industrial Revolution. This particular revolt was provoked by a terrible economy and a drop in silk prices, leading to a drop in workers' wages. Theodore Benazet looks at the budget and talks about the revolts from a politician's perspective.  Disbound. Externally, generally smart with a few light marks to the wraps. Small hole to the bottom third, which permeates through the entire work. Only affects the occasional letter.
