Written by Richard Grafton, who was the King's Printer for both Henry VIII and Edward VI. Rebound in a full calf binding. Externally, the front board is held by cords only and may detach with further handling. Rear joint is starting. Minor marks and rubbing to the boards and spine, discoloured marks a little heavier to the rear board. Small crack to the spine. Small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine. Light bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with the occasional light spot and mark. Minor edgewear to some pages, with small closed tears and loss to the margins of the first one hundred pages. Occasional early ink annotations to the margins. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated.
