Each place comes with a description of the local area and the author's experiences there. Collated, complete. This is the first trade edition. A further limited edition was published with proof plates albeit in a less attractive binding. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with gilt stamping to the front pastedown and to the spine. Externally, very smart, with light shelfwear to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright.
