Written by Robert Keith, a Scottish Episcopal bishop, and historian. Ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper, 'Macd. Morris&apos. Prior owner's ink inscription to the title page, 'Jo Coldstream, March 1786', 'Promise as a present by Mrs Coldstream .. her death to M Caiph.. and delivered after it 12 July 1816&apos. In the original calf binding. Externally, boards are detached but present. Rubbing to the boards and spine. Small amount of loss to the head and tail of the spine.
