Cape heaths are an African species of heather. The author, William M'Nab discusses caring for the plants during climates that have cold winter, E.g Scotland. William M'Nab was superintendent of the Royal Botanic garden, Edinburgh. He was also an associate of the Linnaean and medico-botanical societies of London. A very scarce, informative work, which looks at the soil best suited, propagation of heaths and their general treatment. In the original yellow wraps.
