With a bookplate to the front pastedown, and ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper, belonging to Philip Worsley Wood. Wood was a Fellow of Emmanuel College Cambridge, and also a member of the London Mathematical Society. He published many works on mathematics, particularly algebra, Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Spine label is age-toned with some loss. Light rubbing to the spine. Some fading to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Bookplate to the front pastedown, and ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
