Description: Unamed, A. P Harrison and Son, 1848. Cloth. A very scarce work of British armorial history compiled and edited by A. P Harrison and Son. Undated, dated using Copac. Rebound in a quarter cloth binding, with marbled paper covered boards. Bound with numerous additional blanks to the rear of the volume. With the previous owners bookplate to the front pastedown of Stanley Leonard Barry, the noted English baronet. This particular work of English history explores the ensigns of Barons and Knights in England, collated and emblazoned from the original roll by A. P. Harrison and Sons. Rebound in a quarter cloth binding, with marble paper covered boards. Externally sound, with bumping to the head and tail of the spine and also to the extremities. Patches of light rubbing to the front and rear boards. Cracks to the front and rear joints, with the rear board partially detached and tape repairs to the front hinge. Bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with light spots throughout. Good Only . Ill.: None. Good Only .
